Which subject of BA is necessary to get admission to msw course

You will need:

At least 5 GCSE’s from A* to C  and this needs to include both Maths and English.

2 A levels, (you’ll need to check the UCAS points to the uni you’re applying to).

There are no set subjects that you have to take, but some will help to lead you in the right direction. So think about what skills and knowledge you can take from the subjects you pick and how you could transfer them to social work.

Each of these subjects will be covered within the degree and are very relevant in day to day Social Work practice. They are also examples of what universities will be looking for during the application process:

• Law
• Social Policy
• Politics and economics
• Psychology
• Sociology
• Health and Social Care
