The subjects in btech 1st year is different for every University for each branch, every University has its different syllabus for btech for every branch, so I would request you to please mention the name of the University for which you want to know the btech syllabus along with the name of the branch of BTech, so that we can help you out with the syllabus for btech of that particular University and particular branch.

Hope you know that Irrespective of branches students in their first year have subjects that are common to all. These subjects are taken from all branches ensuring that the student can have a basic knowledge on everything. Let me give a list of common subjects :
- Mathematics -1
- C programming
- Engineering Drawing
- Engineering Chemistry
- Engineering/Applied Physics
- Basic Electrical Engineering
- English
- Mathematics -2
Note : These subjects may differ from institution to institution .Few subjects can add up as well.

In the first year you will have to study physics,chemistry,engineering mathematics,basic electrical engineering, basics of electronics and communication engineering, basic mechanical engineering, basic civil engineering, engineering graphics, environmental studies, english, engineering mechanics,computer programming etc.
