Will arts colleges give placements??

You should understand that generally the courses that Arts stream offers is not professional in nature, it is more of academic in nature. Unlike Science and Commerce, that opens up a chance to go for professional degrees (like Engineering, Medical, Chartered Accountant), Arts has few options as far as securing a profession is concerned. However, few professional options that Arts also offers are:

a. Law

b. UPSC and other Civil Services Examination.

c. Research

It is often preferred to do a masters in your subject and then proceed to be a professor or enter into the feild of research and academia.
