No, you will have to clear JEE MAIN exam and your 12th percentage should be 75% or you should be there in top 20 percentile as this is the eligibility criteria to get admission in NITs/IIITs,GFTIs. To know Jee main complete eligibility criteria, you can go through the below article -

To get a seat in NITs you have to score good marks in JEE Main exam. Boards marks will not be calculated in result only you have to fulfil minimum eligibility criteria i.e you must have 75% marks in your boards exam or you should be in top 20 percentile.

To get NITs you should score more than 125 marks in general category under other state quota.
