Candidates who have booked their seats for M.Tech and M.Des programmes by paying the admission fee must report to their respective departments on Tezpur University campus between July 25 to July 28, 2024 for physical verification of the documents. Course registration will be done on July 29, 2024 and classes for the new session shall commence from July 30, 2024 onwards.
Tezpur University, Tezpur was established in 1994, by an Act of the Parliament of India, Tezpur University Act, 1993 (Act No. 45), as a non-affiliating and residential Central University. The NAAC has accredited Tezpur University with an A+ grade. Tezpur University offers multiple courses in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes.

the college has all the required infrastructure with good quality, it has a central library full air-conditioned, even we have a swimming pool, labs, sports ground, etc. the campus is quite vast I really liked it. the living spaces are clean and fully greenery. The hostel food is average.

The University is prosperous and independent. It is located in a prime area and enjoys generally pleasant weather all year round. It has many departments for various courses, and each department is fully equipped with modern labs and high-tech classrooms. The university is Wi-Fi enabled throughout. The university's core library is housed in a three-story structure containing many books, reading rooms, and other sections. The best part about this hostel is that there is no ragging! The rooms, internet, and food are all fairly decent here.
In addition to these, the university offers separate fields for archery, cricket, badminton, lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball, and other sports. It also includes a swimming pool. Daily necessities can be satisfied at the stores on campus and in the canteens of each dormitory.

Hi,
Tezpur University has a nice campus. Now for food engineering and technology, faculties are good but at the end of the day, your self study will count. Placements are decent, or sometimes just fine or close to average. Computer Science is said to have the maximum number of placements, almost 94%. But for other streams the same can't be said.
For Food engineering, companies like ITC, Dabur, Adani group, Nestle etc visit. Internships are also provided to students in companies like Mother Dairy, Britannia. And with each year, they are showing gradual improvement in the placement rate. Average CTC ranges from 3-12lpa.
