hello, i gave my board exam in 2025 and unfortunately got RT in physics hence gave the exam as a private candidate in 2026 and passed. Now, would both the certificates be merged? Or do I need to present both certificates seperately? Will this effect my chances of admission?

You should be okay. Since you cleared Physics in 2026 as a private candidate, your Class 12 result is now considered “Pass.”

Usually, CBSE either issues an updated marksheet or you may need to keep both the 2025 marksheet and the 2026 Physics result together. Colleges are familiar with

Yes, with an ST category rank of 14,499 , you still have chances in JoSAA and especially CSAB special rounds for:

  • lower branches in some NITs,
  • newer IIITs, and
