Admission Details
The admissions to MBBS course will be made through NEET.
All India or State level Entrance Exam NEET UG/Rajasthan Medical. The admissions are on the basis of merit with constitutional reservations, done by the centralized process by Govt. of Rajasthan. The breakup of seats is 15% by DGHS though All India PMT of all seats.
Eligibility Criteria
Age- Should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 3l’ of December of the year of admission (2019) Candidates born on or after 2nd January 2003 are NOT eligible to apply.
Essential Academic Qualification- Should have passed the l2thClass under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (l.Sc.) or an equivalent Examination of a recognized University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry And Biology as the subject.
Candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subject and expect to pass the Examination with required percentage of marks (as indicated in SI No. 03 below) are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. However, their candidature will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying Examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks.
If the institute has to consider an examination of an Indian university or of a foreign/university to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/intermediate science examination, the candidates shall have to produce a certificate from the concerned Indian university/Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination passed by him/her is considered to be equivalent to the l2tI class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate science examination.
Minimum Marks- The minimum aggregate of the marks in ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY obtained in the qualifying examination (as in the essential qualification at SI. No. 2 of this table) required for appearing in this examination are :
General and OBC candidates: 60% SC/ST/PWBD candidates: 50%
Those with CGPA grades only will have to apply the conversion factor in the application form. The conversion factor should be as approved by their respective examination board.
No Candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the Medical Curriculum of first Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Course until:
1-He/she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the MBBS course;
2-He/she has passed qualifying examination as under:-
1-The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education;
Note: Where the course content is not as prescribed for 10+2 education structure of the National Committee, the candidates will have to undergo a period of one year pre-professional training before admission to the medical colleges;
or
2-The intermediate examination in science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject;
or
3-The pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the higher secondary school examination, or the pre-university or an equivalent examination. The pre-professional/pre-medical examination shall include a practical test in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also English as a compulsory subject;
or
4-The first year of the three years degree course of a recognized university, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in three subjects provided the examination is a "University Examination" and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course;
or
5-B.Sc examination of an Indian University, provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc examination with not less than two of the following subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that he/she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with the following subjects-Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
or
6- Any other examination which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the intermediate science examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including practical test in each of these subjects and English.
