    General / Reserved Category

    The selection of the candidates for admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course will be made on the basis of merit in an Entrance Examination. The Examination will be of three hours duration and shall consist of objective type questions that are based on the Senior School Certificate (10+2) curriculum of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and will also include questions in General Knowledge.

    All candidates belonging to the General and Reserved Categories will have to appear for the Entrance Examination.

    NRI sponsored Category

    NRI Sponsored Candidates do not have to appear for the entrance examination. Selection will be made on the basis of academic merit (in qualifying examination i.e. 10+2) as well as an interview.

    A candidate applying in this category must be sponsored by an NRI and the fees are paid in US dollars. A sponsorship certificate from the sponsoring NRI is required to apply in this category.

    • The candidate must have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (12 years)/ Indian School Certificate Examination of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination/ Intermediate/ Pre-medical Examination or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with 50% marks or more (45% marks or more for reserved category) in the aggregate of four subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English Core) as main subjects provided the student has passed each subject separately. The candidate should be declared an overall pass on the mark sheet.
    • The candidate should be a minimum of 17 years of age on 31st December in the year of admission.
