    Eligibility Criteria

    • 10+2 class passed with Science Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) & English Core / English elective with an aggregated of 45% marks from recognized Board under AISSCE / CBSE / ICSE / SSCE / HSCE or other equivalent Board. Students appearing in 10+2 examinations in science conducted by the National Institute of Open School with 45%.
    • For a candidate belonging to SC / ST or other backward classes, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in the qualifying examination is 40% instead of 45% as stated above.

    1. Candidates with Science who have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognized board. 

    2. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45% for General Category candidates. 3. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission to B.Sc. Nursing. 

    4. Candidates are also eligible for State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the central government as having Science subjects and English only.

     5. Color Blind candidates are eligible provided that color corrective contact lenses and spectacles are worn by such candidates. 

    6. The selection of candidates will be subject to medical fitness. No selected candidate will be permitted to join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board appointed by the University.
