Students are shortlisted on the basis of:
(i) Performance in the Common Admission Test (CAT), XAT, and GMAT
(ii) Academic Record
The shortlisting is done to guarantee that IMI students possess the necessary mathematical, analytical, and linguistic abilities for the management course.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates fulfilling the following criteria are eligible for the programme-
A bachelor’s or equivalent degree, in any discipline, including Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, Economics, Medicine or any other branch of education, from a recognized university in India or abroad (recognized by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities). The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification of the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education, post higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or equivalent are also eligible, provided they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2024. Candidates who are unable to comply with this requirement are liable to be rejected from the program.
