In India, NEET is compulsory for admission into many medical courses, including the BAMS course.
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the basis for the selection of students in the BAMS course.
The centralised counselling is held after the NEET Exam for the admission of the NEET qualified student in the various courses of the medical science according to their performance in the entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria

The qualification needed for the B.A.M.S program is a pass in an intermediate program with Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Sanskrit. The candidate must pass +2 from a recognized board. The minimum age limit is 17 years.

The basic requirement for eligibility to get admission to the BAMS program is qualifying for the 10+2 examination with the science stream. The candidate must have physics, chemistry, and biology in the 12th class.
The selection of the candidate is based on the final merit as the sum of the total numbers obtained in the qualifying examination in 12th and the number scored in the entrance examination
