    • Selection is made based on merit in the qualifying examination.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Age: 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission. 
    • Qualification: Higher Secondary School Certificate examination of Goa Board or the Central Board of Secondary Education (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with 50% (40% for Scheduled Castes and Tribes) marks in aggregate of Science subjects with English, as the medium of instructions
    • Domicile: Candidates should be residents of Goa for 10 years (5 years for candidates whose parents are of Goa origin and they should have passed the qualifying (11th and 12th) examination from Goa).

    "The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education;

    Note: Where the course content is not as prescribed for the 10+2 education structure of the National Committee, the candidates will have to undergo one year of pre-professional training before admission to the dental colleges.
