The admissions are done through admission counselling by the Directorate of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy, Madhya Pradesh, on the basis of a merit list prepared by the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. The merit list is prepared based on the marks secured in the entrance test called NEET.

Admission Procedure:

• Candidates must qualify for the NEET-UG examination.
• Scores from the NEET-UG are used for admission to BHMS programs.
• After qualifying for NEET-UG, candidates need to register for All India Counselling.
• The AACCC conducts the All India Counselling for AYUSH courses, including BHMS.

Students from all over the country who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with physics, chemistry, and biology subjects from any recognized board/university are eligible for admission to the first year of the B.H.M.S course.

• Passed class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks, the Intermediate Science or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as his subjects.
• Must be below 17 years of age at the time of admission on or before 31st December & not more than 25 Years of his/her admission to the first year of the Course.
• Open School graduates may not be eligible for the NEET-UG.
• Blind (including colour blind), deaf, and/or dumb candidates shall not be allowed for admission in the course
