A-Category (Convener Quota)

70% of the seats are filled by the Convener, EAMCET under category A. Detailed notifications are issued by the State Council for Higher Education to attend certificate verification and exercise web options. Final allotments are announced through the portal to both candidates and the respective colleges. Candidates need to report to the college within the dates specified. All the students who are eligible for fee reimbursement have to submit relevant documents during web counseling. Reimbursement is subject to the government policies, eligibility criteria, and submission of relevant documents in time.

B-Category (Management Quota)

30% of the seats are filled by the college under category B as per the guidelines are given by the competent authority.

General Category

• Apply Online/Download Application.
• Based on the merit in JEE / TSEAMCET / AP EAPCET / Marks secured in 10+2 or Intermediate.
• TSEAMCET / AP EAPCET / Uni-GAUGE / AIEEE / JEE can be waived for exceptional
  students.

Candidates should have passed or appeared in the 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects.

Alternatively, candidates who have completed a diploma in engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training or equivalent are eligible.

Qualification:

• Indian Boards: A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry
  and first class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.

A Level:

• Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Computer Science or any technical vocational
  subject* as optional subject in the ‘A’ Levels and English in the ‘AS’ / IGCSE / GCSE.
• Minimum grade required is an average of ‘D’ grade in Physics, Mathematics and any one
  of the optional subjects * Technical vocational subject must be related to Chemical / Civil /
  Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams.

IB:

• English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Computer Science or any technical
  vocational subject* as optional subject (preferably Mathematics and Physics at HL level).
• IB Diploma or IB Certificate with minimum average of 4 points for Physics, Mathematics
  and any optional subject* with overall minimum of 24 points * Technical vocational subject
  must be related to Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams.
