It is mandatory to submit the official scorecard or the test-taker copy (if official scorecard has not yet been received) along with the application.
• Please note that the IIMB PGP code for GMAT is Q9H-KK-49 and for GRE is 1675. Use these codes to have your score sent directly to IIMB. Your official score report from Pearson / GMAC (for GMAT) or ETS (for GRE) will be used for verification using the above codes. This process is mandatory.
• Note: Online GMAT/GRE score (exam taken at home) will not be accepted for PGP 2026-28.
The selection of the candidates for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme 2020-22 batch will be carried out in two phases.
In the first phase, the eligible candidates as per the eligibility criteria [A] mentioned above will be shortlisted for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) from amongst the candidates, who have applied to the MBA programme. The candidate must have a valid CAT score securing a minimum overall percentile score as well as minimum sectional percentile score as mentioned in Table 1.

Eligibility Criteria
International applicants are those holding foreign passports (including those of Indian origin). Overseas applicants are those holding Indian passports, but who are not physically present in India on the date of CAT 2025.
Such applicants must also have resided abroad for at least 18 months in the preceding three years (January 2023 to December 2025). Apart from satisfying the above eligibility, canidates must have the following: •
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (from at least a three year programme) in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from a recognized university/institute. • A valid GMAT or GRE score - the GMAT or GRE score should be valid as on the date of applicati
1] Bachelor degree with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10 from institutions/universities incorporated by an act of parliament or state legislature in India or other institutions declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India or AICTE or AIU or reputed foreign university.
2] Candidates in final year of the degree and those awaiting results can also apply. The applicant should have secured an aggregate of 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or equivalent till the latest exam that has been completed and whose scores are available. The admission will be subject to candidate fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
3] CA, CS, CFA, ICWA or FRM with first class Bachelor degree in any discipline having secured 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) in aggregate (including all years/semesters) or minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10 from institutions/universities incorporated by an act of parliament or state legislature in India or other institutions declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India or AICTE or AIU or reputed foreign university.
