Candidate are required to have appeared in any of the following competitive exams, namely CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT / ATMA / GMAT or any competitive exam / test acceptable as per AICTE guidelines.

The admission process to the PGDM program in Pune is purely merit-based. Before applying for the admission process for the ISBS PGDM PGDM Program, candidates must have a written test score of any of the following tests: AICTE-CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/G-MAT/ MH-CET.

• Candidate should be a graduate / post graduate in any discipline from Universities and Institutions recognized by AICTE / UGC / AIU with minimum 50% aggregate.
• Candidates with minimum 3 years of work experience can also apply. They would be required to submit an experience certificate signed by the Head – HR of the company in which they have worked. Competitive exam scores in these cases will not be required.

• A candidate is declared eligible for PGDM Courses if he/she has passed the degree examination from an AICTE/UGC-recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks for the open category and a minimum of 45% marks for the reserved category. 50% of seats are reserved for Maharashtra domicile-reserved category candidates. Such a candidate's application must be accompanied by relevant caste certificates, cast validity, and non-creamy layer certificates at the time of application.
• The absence of such certificates at the time of submitting the Admission application forms for admission to the course disqualifies them from reserved category seats, and such candidates will be considered for open/general category.
• If a sufficient number of applications for reserved seats are not received then the balance of seats will be converted into open/general category seats. 20% of the sanctioned seats are institute-level seats.
