The Selection process is carried out in two steps.
Step I: SNAP Test Each student desirous of admission to SIIB, Pune must appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test, which is a common written test for the admission to all Symbiosis postgraduate institutes. For SNAP Test information log on to http://www.snaptest.org and register. Get your SNAP-ID. This SNAP-ID should be entered while applying to SIIB, Pune. Preserve the Admit Card of SNAP Test for further selection process at SIIB, Pune. Appearing for the SNAP Test does not automatically qualify an applicant for the next step in the selection process at SIIB, Pune.
Step II: Selection Process at SIIB, Pune Each student desirous of admission to SIIB Pune must apply SIIB, Pune separately, using the link given at the website. Short-listed Applicants based on SNAP scores will be called for the selection process at SIIB, Pune. Shortlisted candidates are announced via a web-link on SIIB Pune’s website as per the scheduled dates. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not called for GE-PIWAT. The entire selection process will be held at PUNE only. This process includes Group Exercise, Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (GE-PIWAT).
Admission to the MBA IB Programs of the Institute will be made on the basis of combined merit of the candidates in CAT conducted by IIM (50%), Academic Records (20%) and Group Discussion & Personal Interview (30%).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of national Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Admission to the MBA-IB Programs shall be made through CAT. Eligibility criteria defined under CAT shall be deemed as applicable provided candidates belong to categories other than SC / ST has secured a minimum 50% marks at the qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidates, at least 45% marks are required.
Note: Qualifying degree must be obtained from any Indian University/Institution recognized by AIU/AICTE.
