Admission is based on the GUJCET Entrance Exam.

The admission is based on the marks obtained by the Gujarat Secondary and
higher Secondary gets shortlisted as per the merit list prepared
considering 60% weightage marks of Theory Papers (PCB) and
40% of marks obtained in the GUJCATE for the purpose of
admission. Out of the total intake capacity, 15% of seats are filled
by I.C.A.R., New Delhi while 85 % of seats are filled at
university level.

The candidates should have passed higher secondary school certificate examination in science stream with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology from any statutory University / Board in Gujarat State or Examination recognized as equivalent there to by the University or equivalent OGPA. Candidates who have passed the higher secondary examination with a vocational stream in Agriculture as well as from higher secondary post basic stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects be also admitted.  English is as compulsory subject and candidates must have appeared for GUJCET of the current year.

Weightage of 5 % Marks are given to Farmer’s Son / Daughter / Brother / Sister /  Grandson / Granddaughter. Weightage of 5 % Marks are given For Agriculture subject of  Higher Secondary vocational stream in Agriculture.

The admissions for B. Sc.(Hons.) Agri. the degree course is
carried out through the online process. The candidates passing XIIth
Std. (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry & Biology subject
The unreserved category 45% and reserved category SEBC
40% & SC/ST 35 % are eligible for admission.
