Admissions are done as per the Government of Karnataka, Karnataka Examination Authority(KEA).

Candidate should have passed II PUC Science / XII Std. (10+2) or equivalent examination with 45% in Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biology / Bio-Technology as optional subjects & English as one of the languages of study.For SC/ST/Other OBC 40%

Criteria for Merit-based selection : CET/COMED-K 

Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates)

Lateral Entry

A candidate who has passed any diploma examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45% marks taken together in all the subjects of the final year (Fifth and sixth semester) diploma Examination (Q.E) is eligible for admission to B.E courses, and 40% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Backward Classes of Karnataka candidates.
