Admission to first semester B.E. / B.Arch

A) Through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)

B) Through COMED-K

The applicants must have a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET, or JEE Main score to secure B.E. admission in Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent exam with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates).

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
