Admission Details
The admission to 85% of seats will be based on the Rank obtained in the All Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by Government of Kerala. Remaining 15% of seats are filled by the management, which is also based on the rank obtained in the Entrance Examination.
Admission is based on KEAM Entrance exam.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for admission to the B.Tech. Degree course shall be required to have passed the higher secondary/+2/XII Std. examination conducted by boards/departments recognized/accepted by the University, obtaining not less than 50% marks in Mathematics and not less than 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together or the diploma examination in Engineering, Kerala or an examination accepted by the Government of Kerala as equivalent thereto with 50% marks in the final qualifying examination, subject to the usual concession allowed for backward and other communities as specified from time to time.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
