Admission to Undergraduate Engineering programmes may be obtained through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) examination and selection process, or through the Management Admission process.
The admission is through Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Department for Technical Education in Karnataka. However, there are a few seats available with the management. More information about the management seats can be obtained by contacting the college authorities.
Eligibility Criteria
If you have ever fiddled around with a mobile or a computer, trying to fix something gone wrong, then ECE is right for you. Besides this, all Indian students applying for the B.E Electronics and Communications Engineering program must fulfill the following requirements:

A student who has passed the qualifying exam (PUC, 12th standard) from a recognized Board other than those mentioned by VTU, must obtain an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (New Delhi). This certificate is mandatory for admission in the College.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
