Applicants should have passed the 12th standard (2nd PUC) or an equivalent examination, with English as one of the compulsory subjects.

Pass in the Pre-University (or+2) examination with 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Maths and Chemistry (or Biology/Computer Science/Electronics/Bio-Technology). For SC/ST/Cat-1/OBC reservation candidates 40%.
