Admission on merit basis

Admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.

The candidates belonging to general, other backward class (SEBC for Gujarat) and special Backward categories who have secured 50% marks and those belonging to OBC or Scheduled castes / Scheduled tribes (SCs/STs) categories having secured 45% marks in the degree examination under the disciplines of Arts, Science, Commerce, Home Science, Agriculture, Computer, Information Technology & Engineering of the Statutory universities, Agriculture Universities, Open Universities or Deemed Universities will be eligible seeking admission to B.Ed. Course.

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanities, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks, or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
