Admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.

Admission through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB)

Candidates with at least fifty per cent marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.

• Three Years Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC). No Donations( Admission strictly on a merit basis)
• Science, Commerce, and Arts Graduates and Post-Graduates may apply with a college-leaving certificate.
• As per N.C.T.E. norms, a candidate should have secured at least 50% (SC/ST/OBC-45%) marks in the aggregate at the Bachelor's Degree Examination of a recognized University or in the Postgraduate Exam.
