The selection will be based on merit on the basis of the marks obtained in class XII, which
will not include any vocational subject.

Selection is done on the basis:

1. Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET)

2. Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT) for shortlisted candidates based on SET.

3. Selection Procedure for the Multiple Entry would be as per the University’s Lateral Entry Rules for FYUG Programmes.

To be eligible to apply for admission to a BA Honours in Economics, the candidate
must have passed the class XII examination with at least 50% marks (relaxation of 5% of marks
for SC/ST/PwD) from a recognized Board. The candidates must have passed Mathematics
which will be counted among the best four subjects.

• Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes). 
• Students who wish to opt for Honours with Research must earn a 7.5 CGPA and above at the end of Semester-6.
• Eligibility Criteria for the Multiple entries would be as per University’s Lateral Entry Rules for FYUG Programmes.
