ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION IN DIPLOMA COURSES For 1st Semester (1st year)

• 10th Class (Matriculation) with English, Science, and Maths Pass/Appeared

For 3rd Semester (2nd year) - THROUGH LEET (LATERAL ENTRY)

• ITI with two years of completion.
• 10 + 2 Vocational Examination / 10 + 2 Non Medical.
• 2-year Certificate course from SLIET, Longowal.

Eligibility Criterion :

Candidates who have passed the Matriculation exam (especially in subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and English) are eligible to seek admission to the polytechnic based on the inter-se-merit of the qualifying exam (Matric) and the reservation policy of the Government of Punjab through online counseling.

Lateral Entry : 

a) 12th Science with Vocational/Technical or 10th + (2 Year ITI)

b) Provided, however, if seats remain vacant, then the same will be filled based on merit as per the below-mentioned eligibility criteria :

1.  ITI at least one year(who has passed the 10th Level School leaving examination before admission to ITI courses) from any institution of Punjab/Other states.
2. 10 + 2 vocational examinations in various branches with a minimum of 60% marks from any institution of Punjab/Other State.
3. 10 + 2 with science from any institution of Punjab/Other State.
4. Two-year certificate course from SLIET Longowal, with a Punjab Domicile.
