Admissions are done as per the Government of Karnataka PG Common Entrance Test of Karnataka, conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to MCA.

• The candidate should have passed a BCA/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent Degree. OR
• Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University).
• Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination..Admission Procedure: Through Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (http://kea.kar.nic.in)  

Should have obtained 50% of aggregate minimum marks taken together in all the subjects for all the years of the Degree examination. 45% of aggregate marks in all the subjects for all the years in the Degree examination in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and Category-I. Further, only the candidates of Karnataka origin will be eligible to claim reservation.
