(a) Admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained qualifying examination and In the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state Government/University/U.T. Administration.

(B) At the time of admission to the program, the student will need to indicate their selection of the subjects to be pursued for discipline options and the accompanying pedagogic specializations for which they are applying, and these may be assigned based on the order of merit and availability.

A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.

The candidate should have passed in 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to the ST/SC category) with physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with mathematics/computer science / Biology (anyone) conducted by a recognized board or its equivalent examination.
