    • Shortlisting of candidates for the selection process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT/XAT/GMAT. scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process at a centre in one of the following cities: Bangalore, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai. Centres other than Kolkata and Gurugram are tentative. The selection process may also be conducted online, for which the intimation will be given to the short-listed candidates in advance.
    • Foreign / OCI/ PIO/ Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries applicants can be considered for admission on the basis of their valid GMAT scores. Applicants have to apply online by visiting MDIM website https://www.mdim.ac.in. Online registration for Foreign / OCI/ PIO/ Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries applicants will be open till Friday, 22nd November (till 5:00 PM).

    Applicants are required to take any one of the Admission Tests:

    a) XAT to be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, on January 04, 2026, OR

    b) CAT to be conducted by IIMs on November 30, 2025, OR

    c) NMAT to be conducted by GMAC during November – December 2025, OR

    d) GMAT conducted or to be conducted in 2024 or 2025, OR

    e) XGMT (XIM General Management Test) to be conducted by XIM University on January 25, 2026.

    Candidates who have secured the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position (i.e., any of the top three ranks, at the College / Institute / University) in their undergraduate program can apply, without a XAT/CAT/GMAT/NMAT score. Such applicants must submit a certificate from the Head of the Institution to that effect when asked for. They will, however, be required to attend the Personal Interview, if called. 

    Applicants opting for XAT/CAT/GMAT/NMAT are required to follow the XAT/CAT/GMAT/NMAT advertisements respectively and apply in time. Registering for XAT/CAT/GMAT/NMAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIM University's MBA-RM program, if not opting for XGMT.

    • The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline after completing secondary and higher secondary schooling with at least 50% marks.

      The candidates should be able to furnish valid score of CAT 2025/XAT 2026/Valid GMAT score. MDI Murshidabad will accept only CAT 2025 / XAT 2026 / Valid GMAT score for admission to its PGDM Programme for Indian Students. Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations by June 15, 2026, can also apply.
