State Quota: Uttarakhand state has conducted a joint entrance examination for Polytechnic (JEEP) for admission in various polytechnic institutions in Uttarakhand through UBTER (Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee). Admissions are made through counseling in accordance with the merit list of JEEP by UBTER.

Management Quota: Admission to the management quota shall be made strictly on the basis of merit and satisfying the eligibility criteria by the admission committee.

Admission is based on the JEEP Exam.

The candidate has Matriculation (high school) from any recognized board, 10+2 (PCM)or its equivalent from any recognized board, and Matriculation (high school) with a 2-year ITI certificate.

Passed 10th Std./ SSC examination. Obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
