• OR
• Passed (10+3) Full-time Diploma examination recognized by All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra state only) with Mathematics as compulsory subject or as declared by the Appropriate Authority, from time to time.

Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National:-

• Passed HSC or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and also at least 50% marks in aggregate or as declared by the appropriate authority from time to time.
• OR
• Candidate should have passed the Full-Time Diploma (10+3) examination recognized by All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a compulsory subject or as declared by the Appropriate Authority from time to time.
• Any other criterion is declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

• The candidate should be a citizen of India; 
• The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks for candidates from Reserved Categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in aggregate;  or 
• The candidate should have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 45% marks (at least 40% for candidates from Reserved Categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in aggregate;
