• Passed (10+3) Full-time Diploma examination recognized by All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra state only) with Mathematics as compulsory subject or as declared by the Appropriate Authority, from time to time.

Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National:-

• Passed HSC or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and also at least 50% marks in aggregate or as declared by the appropriate authority from time to time.
• OR
• Candidate should have passed the Full-Time Diploma (10+3) examination recognized by All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a compulsory subject or as declared by the Appropriate Authority from time to time.
• Any other criterion is declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

The Candidate who has passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, with 50% marks in aggregate, and also at least 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2 examination. OR Passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, having obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the aggregate, and Qualifying NATA (Or) any other Aptitude Test conducted by the Competent Authority of the State Government/ UT.
