Admission is held through entrance examinations conducted by the University in various centers across the country.

Admission is based on an Entrance Test and Interview. The test will comprise
questions based on general awareness related to education and questions based
on readings, which will be uploaded on the AUD website in the first week of June.
Candidates are expected to access and read these prior to the test. Candidates will be
evaluated on their ability to comprehend, apply and articulate their understanding of the
readings. The test will also include a question on candidates' motivation for pursuing
the program. The readings and test will be in English.

A candidate who has passed Bachelor‘s Degree in any Discipline with minimum 45% marks† in the Major/Honours Subject, or 50% aggregate marks† if not having any Major/Honours Subject from any recognized university.

A candidate must have passed the Bachelors/ Masters degree with minimum 45% marks (relaxation of 5% of marks for SC/ST/PwD) or an equivalent grade in any discipline.

Desirable: Minimum of one year's work experience in the field of education.
