Admission Details
Candidates seeking admission to the B. Tech. Programmes are required to appear in the JEE (Main) to be conducted by NTA, New Delhi. All admission shall be based on JEE (Main) All India Ranking/CRL.
The Candidates who appear in the JEE (Main) have two channels for admission to the B. Tech. Programmes.
Admission is based on KEAM Entrance exam.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with pass marks in (1) Physics, (2) Mathematics, (3) Language, (4) any subject (Chemistry, Biology, Biotech, Technical vocational subjects), (5) Any other subject and with minimum 60% (55% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) marks in above subjects taken together
Lateral Entry: Diploma in Civil Engineering from an AICTE approved program. Duration of Diploma must be: (i) 03 years after 10th (Matriculation) in conventional system (ii) 04 years after 10th (Matriculation) in modular system The Candidate must have passed 10th (Matriculation) with 60% marks in aggregate and must have secured 60% marks in Mathematics, as well as must have a minimum aggregate of 70% marks at Diploma level.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
