Admission Details
The admission process at IIM Nagpur for the MBA (2026-28) will be carried out in 3 stages. It will consider the candidate’s performance in Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025, Past Academic Performance (PAP), Work Experience (WE), Gender Diversity (GDI), and performance in Personal Interview (PI) Process. The details are mentioned in the following sections.
The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates of the above criteria will not be eligible for admission if he/she does not submit a certificate latest by June 30, from the principal/head of the department/registrar/director of the institution/university (issued on or before June 30) stating that they have completed all of the required (the result can be awaited) for obtaining the undergraduate degree/equivalent qualification on the date of issue of the certificate.
Overseas candidate-
The candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority; Or (ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)
