Admission is based on an Entrance exam, GATE.

(i) Bachelor’s degree** in Engineering / Technology from educational Institutions approved by AICTE/ Government of India.

(ii) Degrees obtained through Distance Education/ correspondence mode for the qualifying degree.

(iii) Associate Membership holders of professional bodies for admission into their parent disciplines.

• The candidate should be a National Indian.
• The candidate should have studied the graduate course in an institution approved by the AICTE.
• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in the respective branch, awarded by any University in the State of Kerala or equivalent, as approved by the concerned Universities.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent in the Bachelor's Degree Examination. For SC/ST candidates, a pass in the Bachelor's Degree Examination is sufficient.
• Candidates having valid GATE scores are preferred.
• Candidates who have passed AMIE/AMIE examinations and satisfy the following conditions are eligible for admission.
