Admission is on a merit basis.

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• Minimum education:
  • 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
• Students shall be medically fit.
• Students appearing in the 10+2 examination in Science conducted by the National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
• Students shall be admitted once a year.

(I) Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or equivalent Examination recognized by any of the universities in the state of Kerala with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English put together are eligible for admission. 

(ii) Relaxation in marks 

a. Candidates belonging to SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) in the state of Kerala with h total annual family income up to Rs 6 lakhs will have a relaxation of 5% marks. The Scheduled Tribe candidates in the state of Kerala need only a pass in the qualifying examination. 

b. Those candidates claiming relaxation of marks shall produce the necessary certificates under the Management Quota. There will be no reservation of seats for SEBC and or SC/ST candidates under the Management quota. 

(iii) Eligibility certificates: Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from places other than the state of Kerala shall produce the certificate of recognition and equivalency of the qualifying examination from KUHS, Thrissur. This should be furnished at the time of the interview for admission. 

III.3. Age (i) Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on the 31st May 2025 in the admission year. No relaxation of the minimum age will be allowed. 

(ii) Self-attested copy of the relevant page of the school record, namely SSLC/ICSE/CBSE/certificates, showing the date of birth/copy of the birth certificate, should be furnished along with the application in proof of age.
