Admission Details

Admission will be made strictly in order of merit.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed the Higher Secondary or its equivalent Examination may apply for admission to the B.A./B.Sc. (Honours) courses.

At least 50 % marks in aggregate in H.S. or Equivalent Examination with at least 45 % marks in the subject /related subject(Botany/Biology/ Biotechnology) opted for Honours Programme. OR
At least 55 % marks in the subject / related subject (Botany/Biology/ Biotechnology) opted for the Honours Programme. OR
50% marks in the aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subjects in her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied.

For SC/ ST Candidates:

40 % marks in aggregate or 40 % marks in the subject or related subject in H.S. or Equivalent Examination along with the SC/ ST certificate in the name of the candidate is required.
