Eligibility Criteria
Any student who has a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, Food Technology and Quality Assurance, Food Science and Quality Control, Home Science with Chemistry (as auxiliary), Microbiology, or Life Science stream with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate from a recognized University can apply for the M. Sc Food Technology and Quality Assurance Program. SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination. SEBC (Socially and educationally backward class) and OEC (Other Eligible Castes) will be given a relaxation of 3% and 5%, respectively in the prescribed minimum marks.
The Candidate should Graduation in Science or Technology having Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Family & Community Science, Microbiology, or Nutrition as one of the subjects OR Graduation in Microbiology with a Nanotechnology of Bharathiar University
