The Admission Procedure is based on the Entrance test.

The candidate should have passed in XII or equivalent from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% in aggregate and with the following conditions if an applicant wishes to take up Honours subject:

a)   45% in the subject in which one desires to take up Honours.

b)   45% in Biology to take up Honours in Botany or Zoology.

c)   45% in the aggregate to take up honours in a subject not available at the + 2 or equivalent level.

Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. 1st Semester Honours should have passed Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent in the science stream from any recognized institution with a minimum of 50% of marks for the unreserved category and 45% of marks for ST/SC/OBC/OBC(MP) in aggregate of:

• English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for B.Sc. Honours in Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Geology/Mathematics/Physics/Statistics).
• English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (for B.Sc. Honours in Anthropology/Botany/Environmental Sciences/Geology/Zoology).
