The candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for S.C./S.T./PH) and should not be above 20 years of age (22 years for SC/ST/OBC) on the first of July of the year of admission.

The student has passed the seeking admission into a 5-year law course; only the 10th and 12th qualifications suffice, with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.

The qualifications of the 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
The pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.
