Admissions to all Postgraduate programmes in affiliated colleges for the Academic Session 2026–27 shall be made through either:

• State-level/University-level Entrance Examination or
• College-level Merit List, as prescribed for the respective programme.

Admission to M.Sc. programmes shall require a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination (40% for SC/ST candidates), unless otherwise prescribed by the University.

Admission to M.Sc. programmes shall ordinarily be permitted only in the subject that the candidate studied as a Major Subject in the final year of the Bachelor's Degree Programme.

The candidate should pass a Bachelor's degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc. or equivalent) under the 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
