The admission procedure is based on merit.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. program, at the time of application, hold a Master’s degree with at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade of the University, / a deemed University or any other University incorporated by any law for the time being in force and recognized by the University. However, for SC/ST candidates, 55% marks are required instead of 60%.

The Candidate should have passed in 10+2 exam considering the marks obtained 45% for Gen and 40 % for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy layer) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology from the recognized board.
