Admission to the 3 Year (B.L. ) Degree Course is based on Academic Merit through counseling.

Admission to LL.B. courses is through entrance examinations conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed a three-year Degree Examination of Universities in Tamil Nadu and Such a degree awarded by Member Universities of the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi for mutual recognition on a reciprocal basis, after 10+2+3+ or 11+1+3 pattern, and also recognized by Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University alone are eligible for admission to B.L. (3 years) Degree Course.

Seeking admission to a 3-year law course, the qualifications needed are only 12th and a 3-year graduation, with 12th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into a 3-year law course,

The qualifications of 10th, 12th (+2), and graduation may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).

The pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.
