The selection of students for the BPT course is strictly on a merit basis as decided by the competent authority approved by the Government of Kerala/Kerala University of Health Sciences.

• The candidate should have a Pass in +2 (Science) or equivalent course recognized by the Kerala University of Health and Allied Sciences with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. 
• No less than 17 years.

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent, have a minimum of 80% marks.
