Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2026. 

Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination & branch allocation on the basis of Merit.

A candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

MET 2026 Rank Holders

The candidate must have passed 10+2 or A Level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as Compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology or Statistics or Engineering Drawing as optional subject for admission to B Tech, with minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and the optional subject, put together.

Merit-Based Admission

Manipal University Jaipur offers Merit-Based Admissions to eligible candidates who meet any one of the following criteria:

• Passed Class XII with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects, along with a minimum aggregate of 60% (or equivalent) in PMX subjects, where X may include Chemistry/Computer Science /Biotechnology /Biology / Engineering Drawing /Electronics/Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics

All admissions are subject to merit, fulfilment of eligibility criteria, and availability of seats.

B Tech - Lateral Entry (Candidates are admitted directly to second year)

• The candidates who have passed 3 year diploma in relevant field of Engineering/BSc (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate can apply for Lateral Entry to B Tech Programmes
