Admission will be done as per the Merit list based on the 60:40 ratio of marks of 12th in Science Stream with Maths and Score obtained in GUJCET.

The merit list of the candidates who have applied for admission in the prescribed form, within the prescribed time limit and who are found eligible for admission, will be prepared considering 60% weightage of the marks obtained in the Theory Papers (PCB/PCM subject) and 40 % of the marks obtained in GUJCET /JEE or any other entrance test as decided by the State Government from time to time.

The candidates who passed 12th Std. in Science stream with 50% marks in the theory of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths altogether and with English as a compulsory subject, are eligible for admission. Candidates are required to obtain scores in GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test), conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), Gandhinagar. Candidates get shortlisted as per the merit list prepared considering 60% weightage of marks to the Theory Papers (PCB / PCM) and 40% marks obtained in the GUJCET for the purpose of admission.

The Candidate of Gujarat Domicile should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination in Science stream with PCM/PCBM with English as a compulsory subject from any statutory University / Gujarat Board or other board in the State or Examinations recognized as equivalent there or by the University.
