The merit list for selection will be based on marks obtained in a Major subject in Class XII or Intermediate (or equivalent level) or the aggregate marks of Class XII or Intermediate (or equivalent level) if Marks of the Major subject are not available.

The admission is based on merit.

 A student may be admitted to Bachelor of Arts/Science/Commerce if he/she has passed the Intermediate Examination of a Board/University established or incorporated by law, or any other examination recognized by the University.

A person who has passed Class 12 (or equivalent level) or the aggregate marks of Class 12 (or equivalent level) if the marks of the Major subject are not available. Reservation norms of the Government of Jharkhand must be followed as amended from time to time.
