The Admissions seats are done the merit Basis.

(i) Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognized as equivalent there to, as approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences Thrissur. 

(ii) Should have passed Higher Secondary examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examination equivalent thereto as approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. Should have separate minimum pass mark for Physics Chemistry and Biology and 50% marks in Biology separately and should have 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together at the final year of the qualifying examination (Plus two) (iii) Students applying for admission to B.P.T course should have studied English as a subject in Higher Secondary level. 

(iv) Necessary documents has to be submitted during the time of admission(see Annexure III )

• Candidates seeking admission to the BPT Programme (4 1/2 years) should have completed 17 years of age, as of the 31st December of the year of admission.
• Students with a science background (Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology) at the 10+2/ equivalent level can only opt for a career in Physiotherapy. The candidate should secure 50% marks in each of these subjects as well as in English.
• The candidate before admission to the course shall furnish to the Principal of the Institution, a Certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized government medical officer to the effect that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the course.
• Selection shall be made only based on norms prescribed by the Government and the University from time to time
